The students of our faculty won the special prize of the 2nd " Pinming Cup" National University BIM Application Graduation Design Competition

On May 30, the 2nd "Pinming Cup" National University BIM Application Graduation Design Competition was hosted by China Construction Education Association, co-organized by Hangzhou Pinming Ankong Information Technology, and supported by Beijing Yingjianke Software. It ended successfully. After more than half a year of fierce competition, the undergraduate team from the Department of Civil Engineering of our school won the first prize of the special prize for the first time.

Since October 2020, the competition has collected works from colleges and universities across the country, and the finals ended in May 2021. It lasted nearly 8 months, and a total of people from Northeastern University, Ocean University of China, Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, Dalian Maritime University, Guangxi University, Nanchang University. , Zhengzhou University, China University of Mining and Technology, 420 colleges and universities in 29 provinces (cities, regions), 1,420 teams, and nearly 8,000 teachers and students signed up for the competition. After the selection of the competition promotion competition, 317 teams finally advanced to the national finals. Through the online defense and selection, our school was guided by teachers Wang Liang and Song Zhiwei, and the Longxingtianxia team composed of five students, Wu Qishuai, Jiang Run, Wang Jiaxu, Jin Zhuoyang, and Hu Yuntao, won the first place in the special prize of the competition.

The competition involves a variety of professional software such as Yingjianke, revit, and lumion, covering multiple professional knowledge such as structure, construction, HVAC, water supply and drainage, and electrical. In the face of this national professional competition with a huge amount of work and a long schedule, the Longxingtianxia team started from bit by bit. After completing the tense basic academic tasks of the junior year, they used the limited spare time to work overtime for the competition. Teachers Wang Liang and Song Zhiwei organized team discussions and studies for many times. In the end, the team completed all the requirements of the competition with excellent results. For the cultural center project of the team, the design calculation of the frame structure and the drawing of the reinforcement of the beam, column and slab are realized, and the model is established on the revit platform by specialty, and the analysis of the clear height, the reservation of holes, the collision analysis, and the comprehensive layout of the pipeline are output. , and perform rendering roaming, realizing the conversion from 2D to 3D in the design stage of construction drawings.

BIM technology will jointly promote the transformation of the construction industry with new technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, and cloud computing in the integrated application of the new building industrialization life cycle, improve the resource allocation efficiency of the entire industry chain in the construction industry, and improve the construction process. Predictability and controllability for sustainable development of production methods. The competition further deepened the students' understanding of the application and development of the BIM industry, and improved their mastery of BIM application technology. This competition is also a successful exploration of interdisciplinary and multi-professional competitions by students of the School of Civil Engineering. At the same time, it also deepens school-enterprise cooperation, effectively enhances the ability of college students to link theory with engineering practice, and achieves college talent training and social needs. effective connection.
