On the afternoon of March 24th, our college held the postgraduate National Scholarship report on “Building dreams in Your Youth, setting sail and starting your voyage ” in the conference room on the fifth floor of our college. This activity invited seven winners of 2020 National Award for Graduate students to share their experiences, aiming to inspire everyone’s enthusiasm for learning and set lofty goals with the power of example. At the same time, they also exchanged their learning and life experience to help students improve themselves. Graduate counselor Chen Xiumei organized and presided over this report.
The first speaker is Dr. Jianping Liu. Dr. Liu will share his research experience from undergraduate to doctoral stage. From entering the first “Engineering Technology Innovation Experimental Class” to joint training experience in Georgia Institute of Technology. Then from the research industry demand, determine the research topic to coordinate with manufacturers processing experimental equipment. The students were impressed by his rich research and learning experience. In addition, Liu Jianping also showed his certificate of complete horse running, vividly showing us a contemporary young scholar all-round development, positive and enterprising model image. In the end, he taught us “health is the most important, good health is the premise of doing any work”, “direction is more important than hard work, in case of advance planning, planning before action” and other growth feelings, thought-provoking, provoking, the audience applauded.
Later, Wu Tao and Wu Fan shared their experiences from the aspects of scientific research experience, life concept and work choice, and told about the difficulties they had met and the ideas that supported them to carry on. The students benefited a lot.
Chen Lechuan shared his experience in scientific research and introduced some books on social science related to economics and philosophy. “Be curious about other areas,” he says. To encourage students to be good at discovery. At the end of the exchange, he also interacted cordially with the students, which made the atmosphere of the lecture more active.
Li Jiaqi and Wu Zhenxu also shared their rich scientific research experience and efficient learning methods. In addition, Wu zhenxu stressed the importance of loving the country and the Party for a young scholar. In realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation today, we should not only arm our minds with knowledge, but also take root in our thinking.
