On the morning of October 27, 2021, our institute and The First Construction Group of ShanXi held a scientific research cooperation signing meeting in the conference room on the sixth floor of the first construction group headquarters.  Zhang Taiqing, (chief engineer of Shanxi Construction Investment Group), Dong Xiaoqiang, (dean of our institute), Wang Jinping, (dean of the School of Architecture), Yang Shaoyong, (chairman of The First Construction Group of ShanXi), and Liu Hui, (chief engineer), attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Liu Hui.

Yang Shaoyong said in his speech that Taiyuan University of Technology has abundant human resources and strong scientific research strength. This institute-enterprise cooperation will definitely have a significant and far-reaching impact on the development of Yijian Group.

At the meeting, Dong Xiaoqiang fully affirmed the long history, comprehensive strength, characteristic advantages and social contribution of the First Construction Group, and introduced the basic situation and research status of our institute. He hoped that the two sides will further leverage their respective advantages in talent training, scientific and technological research and development, and achievement transformation, strengthen scientific and technological innovation, and promote the common progress of both sides.

The participants conducted in-depth and detailed exchanges on cooperation. After that, on behalf of the college, Dong Xiaoqiang signed a cooperation framework agreement with Shanxi First Construction Group, and Professor Li Tieying signed a scientific research project with First Construction Group.

Zhang Taiqing made a concluding speech. He fully affirmed the importance and far-reaching influence of this college-enterprise cooperation, and emphasized that the First Construction Group should strengthen in-depth exchanges with the college, improve and develop together, adhere to the combination of production, education and research, and make full use of college resources. Aim at the forefront to achieve technological breakthroughs and contribute to the development of construction investing.
