In order to improve our students' awareness and ability to prevent Telecom fraud and protect students' personal and property safety, the college held a knowledge lecture on "preventing telecom network fraud" in the conference room on the third floor of Sixian building on the afternoon of May 11.The lecture was given by police officer Zhang Liangchao of the anti-fraud branch subordinated to Taiyuan Public Security Bureau and presided over by teacher Zhang Yabin of the student office.

First, police officer Zhang explained the concept, main types and basic process of Telecom fraud, emphasizing that college students are more likely to be blinded by all kinds of fraud, especially fraud methods such as "bill swiping fraud", "impersonating public security fraud" and "online dating fraud". Then, by combining true cases, police officer Zhang focused on explaining to the students how the fraud Gang gradually swindled the victim's money by using a variety of means, and explained effective coping strategies for everyone. Finally, under the leadership of police officer Zhang, the teachers and students of the whole college read the golden sentence of anti-fraud together.

Through this lecture, the students felt deeply and benefited a lot. They said one after another: "after listening to the lecture, we learned that there are so many fraud traps around us and fraud methods emerge in endlessly. We should be more vigilant and prevent criminals from taking advantage of them."

We believe that through this lecture, our students can enhance their own security awareness and ability to prevent Telecom fraud, and effectively protect their own information and property security.
