On April 20, the pre competition training meeting of the Third Resume Making Competition of Taiyuan University of Technology hosted by College of Civil Engineering was held separately in the Moral Lecture Hall of Xingzhi building in Mingxiang campus and the conference room on the fifth floor of Erudite Museum Block A in Yingxi campus. DONG De-bei, a gold medal lecturer of Zhilian, was invited as the speaker of this training meeting to provide training and pre competition counseling on resume making for all the students.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Dong told the audience the necessary factors included in a resume through a Q & A session of "who can stand last", and pointed out that an excellent resume should be considered from three aspects: content, wording and typesetting. Then Mr. Dong used vivid examples to emphasize the importance of the use of verbs and numbers, and point out the problems in the listed resumes, put forward corrective measures, and tell the audience that the delivery of resume should be "targeted" and put an end to the phenomenon of "all in one".

The purpose of this Resume Making Competition is to help college students firmly establish a correct employment awareness, make career planning, improve resume making level, enhance competitiveness of job hunting, realize early and good employment. This Training Meeting not only provided "real stuff" in job hunting, but also provides a platform for students to show themselves, share achievements and exchange experience, laying a good foundation for high quality employment.
