He is dean of the college of Civil Engineering and director of the Underground and Geotechnical Engineering .

Second Prize of Shanxi Province Natural Science in 2013, first prize of Shanxi Province Excellent Academic Paper in 2016, first prize of Taiyuan Excellent Academic Paper in 2017, and second Prize of Shanxi Excellent Academic Paper in 2018.
